Lunar Eclipse is the goddess of the moon and twin sister of Solar Eclipse. The two are bound together in an eternal cycle—only when Seret is eclipsed can Lunar Eclipse manifest as an independent entity. Otherwise, she and her moon are absorbed into Seret, dissolving her individuality into the greater divine whole. But for those nights when she walks alone, Lunar Eclipse stands as the first and last line of defense against the Betrayer, Svikari. She watches over the shadows, ensuring that what is imprisoned remains so. She is the goddess of vigilance, quiet perseverance, and duty that never wavers.

Her moon, Carceris, was once a moon of beauty. It became a celestial prison. Her once shining silver light is now dim as her moonlit chains bind Svikari. The moon waxes and wanes in color, growing darker as Svikari's influence strengthens. When it turns deepest violet, the world trembles—for it is then that Lunar Eclipse's hold is tested the most.

Her silver light also cleanses corruption, burning away lingering traces of the Far Realm’s touch. Those afflicted by eldritch madness, tainted dreams, or the warping influence of aberrations once sought her temples for sanctuary. In ancient times her priestesses performed moonlit purification rites, bathing the afflicted in her light, hoping to drive out the horrors that lurk beneath the surface of the mind.
