The Redeemer
Erusul, The Redeemer is the god of mercy, compassion and redemption. Their message is one of compassion and understanding seeking the redemption of those that can be redeemed. They believe that everyone can be redeemed, even the corrupt, this led to a great betrayal at the hands of Dolorel who left most of her following wiped out when he was brought back to the plane of Terran Sah-lie. The Redeemer’s followers are often the rural priests or healers and the community philosophers often being the voice of reason in times of strife.
Those that follow the Redeemer often spend much of their time creating new works of art or temples to spread Erusul’s influence in the world of Pan-tyrel where his following is minimal.
Appearance
Erusul is often depicted as a petite light skinned androgynous elven figure embodying grace and compassion.
Commandments of the Redeemer
- Lead with mercy, patience and compassion. Inspire others to unite in friendship.
- Aid those who are lost. Heal those who are without hope.
- Those who are deemed beyond Redemption, who revel in the slaughter of innocents, guiltless and evil must meet swift justice.
Holy Orders
Mercy's Hand is the primary order the followers of Erusul typically join. They run under Lady Grace Truesteel and they seek to redeem criminals and those deemed beyond help, they offer sanctuary in exchange for labor to those that are criminals and will often recruit from jails or prisons in an effort to reform criminals.
