The Dayweaver
Seret, The Dayweaver is the god of time. Seret seeks to uphold the balance between day and night, to measure time and keep it ever flowing forward. The Dayweave has a small following and not many people see his importance. Seret, being the embodiment of balance, sought to test the many races of the world and one after another they failed until he stumbled upon a young drow child. This drow child passed Seret’s test and The Dayweaver blessed the child and those it led to the surface making them his chosen. Seret is the sworn enemy of the Spider Queen Lolth having stolen away many of her precious followers.
Appearance
Seret is an elven male in appearance, bald and with skin of two colors a golden tone on the left and on the right a deep gray. These opposing skin tones represent the duality between day and night.
Commandments of the Dayweaver
- Balance needs to be maintained for the cycle to continue.
- The followers of the Spider Queen need to be enlightened and brought to the surface.
- Balance is only maintained when one’s emotions are in check and embraced.
Holy Orders
Not so much a holy order as a group of Elves, the Seretites work in Seret’s honor and will, owing to their freedom and thanks they work to repay their debt and aid those that are in need as well as maintain the cycle of time and balance between day and night. The Seretites are led by a child named Cassius.
Holy Days
Seret’s holy day is celebrated on a lunar or solar eclipse, whenever these occur the followers of Seret feast and celebrate their family and the time they have.
