The Field of lost souls
this section of land is filled with souls of those that could not or did not find their way to the shadowfel and have become lost. These lost souls are usually disoriented and dazed and in some cases they might even be outright hostile. You’ll occasionally find two souls engaged in a heated battle continuing the one that sent them here for eternity or until something else comes along to disperse or steal the soul.
Nox Astu, The City of Shadows
ruled by the shadowy and mysterious Khyel.
The Oni kingdom
In the plane of shadows, also known as the shadowfel, there exists a group of Oni that were vanished from their ancestral lands of Linju before the great war between dragons. Now after thousands of years in the shadows fel these Oni were changed by the darkness. Like malicious souls into nightwalkers or elves into shadar-kai, the Oni became the Angui. Dark Oni imbued with powers and darkness. Like the hidden clans of the Shogunate on Linju the Oni practice martial arts and shinobi magic though they delve more into dark sorcery than those of the material plane. They along side their shadow ninja constructs live deep within the Empty Sea, a dark reflection of Linju ruled by Oni and other dark creatures from linju's mystic folklore.
Oni exist in the material plane along their normal variants, but among the Shadow Oni and the Angui there was a legendary king and his generals that fought a war against the dragons in ancient times alongside the Giants but lost when the Lord's of the dragon clans imprisoned the king and his generals in masks that are now guarded by the dragon clans to prevent his return and the return of the shadow Oni.
The Darklands
An area of the Shadowfel that is closer to the death realm of oblivion. It is more potently filled with death energy and seems to have an affinity for life draining undead such as vampires, shadows and ghosts.
The City of Shade
A floating enclave of powerful necromantic wizards and shadow people corrupted by their long stay in the Shadowfel away from the material plane. Very hostile to the living. Seeking dominance of the Shadowfel. They call themselves the Dark Masters and prefer shadow dealings over public friendly interactions.
