Ishraki - "The Lady of Rime"

Ishraki is the Dreamweaver and the Lady of Rime. Brought into being by the torment of Aquilon the North Wind in the winter of 299 AR, Ishraki is the goddess of sorrow, ice, dreams and toil. In the realms of ice, Ishraki shapes glaciers with hands that carry the chill of deep contemplation. This icy touch is not a mere frosty grasp however; it is a sculptor's caress, forging landscapes and possibilities. So too does the Dreamweaver help realize the possibilities from the raw material of dreams. To this goddess, ice is the crystalline canvas upon which she sees the aspirations and fears of mortals painted.   The Lady of Rime navigates the vast expanse of collective subconsciousness. Where realities are born from the threads of dreams, Ishraki works tirelessly. These dreams are not merely flights of fancy, and carry the toil of the waking world and make them into ephemeral visions.   Ishraki manifests as a massive rime-covered baku, a chimera of various creatures like bears, mammoths, tapirs, and more.

Ishraki celebrates the labor of creation, and acknowledges that dreams are not handed over freely but must be earned through the toil of mortal hands. Ishraki's temples resonate with the rhythm of labor, a chorus of progress echoing through the halls.   Within her delicate tapestry, sorrow is the unseen thread that adds depth and richness to the cosmic design. Sorrow is not a punishment but a poignant reminder of the fragility of dreams and the resilience born from toil. To the followers of Ishraki, sorrow and joy are as inseparable as the interplay of light and shadow. Joy, sadness, toil, and dreams are all threads in the beauty of the whole.   Worshippers: Ishraki's worshippers come in many forms, however her following is usually smaller around warmer climates, likely as a result of winter being less associated with sorrow to the populace. When gathered together her worshippers pray at altars adorned with mirrors, mimicking ice to reflect the multifaceted nature of mortal lives.
