Darrilok - "Lord of the Ruinstorm"
Darrilok is the Lord of the Ruinstorm, the Final Breath, and the Poison of the Southern Gale. Darrilok is an echo of the choking poisonous air, the relentless thunder, and chaotic frenzy of The Ruination made manifest. Wherever Darrilok manifests thunder and lightning split the heavens, and the breath of life normally afforded by the wind is saturated with poisonous gas and horrid fumes that choke the life out of all who feel its horrible embrace. Chaotic and cruel, Darrilok’s attention earns the coming of tornadoes and dark skies to all who do not spare him their fealty.
As the Lord of the Ruinstorm, Darrilok thinks little of life, and desires to return the world into a state of primordial elements even if it means the destruction of mortal life. The only thing preventing him from feeding this apocalyptic urge is the intervening actions of Mystuka, the Princess of the North Wind, and Darrilok’s even greater hatred of the other elemental gods, a hatred that burns brighter than even his hatred reserved for Mystuka. It was Darrilok who began the Destruction of Khorzan, a destructive wind that raised tsunamis and eroded mountains, devastating the Khorzan region of Cralor after the hateful god manifested itself in the heavens of the Prime Material Plane. Before its actions could wipe out even more life, the Void Dragon Voa bound the Lord of the Ruinstorm in an enchanted barrier of Primordial Earth in the heart of the Elemental Plane of Air’s region known as the Southern Gale.
Now bound in a prison that is anathema to its existence, Darrilok makes use of its mortal followers to spread its destructive instincts and urges. Vile mortals call upon the favor of the Final Breath to bring destruction to their enemies.
Darrilok is depicted as a violent, destructive core of negative energy surrounded by a swirling cloud of poison who swallows all around him like a black hole, cascading hateful lightning at everything near him.

And given the simplicity of such a desire, rarely do his followers need instructions in how to accomplish this goal of their divine patron. Worshippers: Despite his unrepentant push for apocalyptic destruction, Darrilok rarely has a one sided relationship with many of his followers. Many that would follow the Final Breath are insane nihilists that find no meaning in existence and don’t even value themselves, much less the value in others. However these are not the most common of his worshippers. In truth Darrilok extracts vile but often ambitious souls with an appetite for raw power and that yearn to destroy the things built by those they hate, whether they be small sentimental things, to toppling a society that has outcasted them. Darrilok desires for his own freedom from the imprisonment inflicted upon it by the god Voa so that he may wreak destruction once again, and compels his most insane followers to topple the monuments and shrines dedicated to the dragon god, hoping to find knowledge capable of breaking down the prison piece by piece until it is weak enough for him to free himself. The more sensible majority however readily reject this wish of the god for one reason: they know that if they free their god for good, he would never again grant them his power for he would have no use of them any longer. Darrilok harbors immense hatred for his worshippers for this fact alone, but is patient nonetheless, content to wreak havoc on the universe vicariously through the magic and boons gifted to his servants. He will simply know who to strike down first when the time comes to bear his wrath on creation once again.
