Lacquer

Lacquer is a middle aged Kitsune living within Old Ashton, attracted to the town due to the rich clay located in the area. Lacquer is an artist, specializing Pottery, specifically the art of Kintsugi.

Physical Description

General Physical Condition

Lacquer is a fairly average Kitsune, almost entirely red in color other than her black palms. She is of average height and slender build. The most iconic part of her appearance is her hands, where the fur on them is often dyed in the golden lacquer she works with regularly.

Lacquer is primarily a potter, having connections with Orbesta to have regular deliveries of clay to her in exchange for a portion of her stock for decorations in their towns. Her stock is considered high quality, as she refuses to use magic for any portion of the process other than the collection of the clay.
By making the pottery by hand, it allows her to add details and aspects magic could never add. One singular artistic piece could take her up to two weeks to complete, though she is known to jump between different jobs.
She normally is able to produce 12 pieces a week. She credits her success to a person clad in green smashing everyone else's pottery.

Likes & Dislikes

Alongside pottery, Lacquer has been learning the art Rune Carving. While she does not employ magic to produce her works, she does have an interest in learning how to incorporate it into her work. Making pieces unbreakable, keeping the contents a certain temperature, or creating extra-dimensional spaces within them. She has thus far only been able to produce unbreakable pieces, ironically by breaking them in a specific pattern and gluing them back together with Golden Dusted lacquer. These pieces are especially popular for the Draconic Races residing in Orbesta, who appreciate the pieces will not break in a draconic rage, protecting the contents.
She has learned how to scribe a few other runes, but has not yet learned how to apply them to her work.
