Variations

Each of the Syvan deities had their own special variation of Wolpertinger to act as their divine servitor. The Rabbit God, Brambleson's, Wolpertingers are native to the Briarpatch and are brambly and thornlike. These days only the Briarpatch Wolpertingers of are still active, since the other Sylvan deities were destroyed in the Apocalypse of the Scouring Blight.   Historically, the Squirrel God's Wolpertingers were foresty with tree branch antlers. The Wolpertingers of the Fox God were suited to living underground and were shadowy with darker fur. The Stag God's pastoral Wolpertingers had fur made of grass. And the Wolpertingers that served the Pheasant God were more avian, with stronger wings and light streamlined bodies.
