Swaith
Unusually intelligent and sneaky spawn of the Terrier Beneath the Sands, Swaith are terrier hags, capable of casting limited magic and witchlike hexes. Swaiths can curse with Evil Eye, despite having no eyes, and Misfortune and render an opponent magically frightened and weak.
A weakened creature must ensure not to partake of the water of the Swaith, for it maddens those who drink of it, twisting the body and the mind. Charming to Animals, the Swaith weakens and frightens its foe before vanishing into air as thin as the skin on its bony flesh.
