Dido Saint-Germain

Dido Saint-Germaine

Dido Saint-Germain was a halfling alchemist who worked at Elderton University as a young woman, and later got caught up in the Candleman's Cartel. She was brought by the Candleman (seemingly unwillingly) to a drug-deal rendezvous with Katib Hugo Dargent on Givesday, Tailormoon, 1313, in the Bone Room of the Understacks. When the deal turned south (at the machinations of Hugo's mother, Viziera Guinevera Dargent), Saint-Germain was killed by Hugo's Concubine, Lindie Asklepa, as she tried to run away.
The Candleman seemed to have used Saint-Germain's wax-based alchemy to create the Goons, Grunts and other wax golems who carried out and enforced his criminal activity. Saint-Germain herself rode a waxen, homunculous familiar, which was destroyed in the fight that killed Saint-Germain.   While it is unclear whether Saint-Germain was the only alchemist in the Candleman's employ, she seems to have been responsible for many of the Candleman's waxen creations, and it was possibly her alchemical discoveries that led to the cartel's strength in the first place.
When Saint-Germain was killed, her Alchemical Lab Book was plundered by Lindie, who noted down all of the legal formulae in her own formula book then traded it to Strychnine in exchange for his help cutting the Angel Dust from the drug-deal.
