Short for Basilisk (and unknowingly named after her baby brother), Basil is Lindie Asklepa's intelligent Clockwork Familiar. Mechanically he is a clockwork spy with familiar abilities, and he has been crafted in the shape of a winged snake with green jewelled eyes. Each morning, Lindie winds Basil up so that he is fit for purpose.
