The Grey Dragonkind, or Greyscales, are that of a greyed-scale hide. Their scales are not as strong as their chromatic or metallic cousins, and their height is not as impressive. Unlike most of their Dragonkind cousins, they are a mostly peaceful people, seeking words over violence. They are not unfit to defend themselves should the need arise, however. Their ferocity in battle is just as great as the most bloodthirsty Orc.
The Greyscales were the one people, excluding the High Elves, who evaded enslavement by the Human Kingdoms during the Age of Humanity. Their ferocity kept them free, and their diplomatic and peaceful nature helped them to stay out of the Human's way, to not draw their anger.
The larges organization of Greyscales is The Dragonkind Confederacy, a peaceful nation made and ruled by both the Grey and Reptilian Dragonkind. This empire has never declared war on another, even during the Great War, but it is not afraid to defend itself if another nation declares war on them or antagonizes them enough to draw the ire of the Reptilian Dragonkind.
