The Cosmic Void

The Cosmic Void is an endless and hostile void of darkness that resides in the cosmic space between all dimensions, filled with horrors beyond imagine. This hostile region, controlled by none, is home to abberations and abominations that make the terrors of the Abyss look friendly. Despite the horrors, entities from all perspectives have formed in this void. Many upstart deities make their start within this void and have created havens of life and order. The two havens known are the Cosmic Tree and Palanvaid, though many suspect there is more out there, and some claim to have witnessed deities from far off realms deep in the void.
