Oreads

Oreads are earth-descended Primals, who's heritage hails from the Earth Plane. They are naturally able to speak the language Terran, of the Earth Elementals. They skin is often very harsh and rocky, and their head is often oddly smooth, or sharp and spiky. Their rock-like skin gives them extra strength and resistance, but also makes them slower and harder to be stealthy. Unless an Oread's mother is another Oread, they are usually unable to bear another child after birthing an Oread.
Oreads are not looked upon as lowly as the other Primals, but there are still met with plenty of prejudice. A large portion of Dwarves suspect them for being responsible for the closing of the Dwarfgates since they were the only other race to inhabit The Dwarven Deeps. In truth, the Oreads on the surface are as much victims as the Dwarves, as they also lost contact with their family and a large portion of their population who also lived within The Deeps.
