Orcs

The Orcs are scattered across the world, being known as the most populous race in the world. Their influence upon several kingdoms is well known and they often make up a large portion of immigrants, and minorities in foreign states. Most orcs come from the birth of the Empire of the Reborn, though many have since split off for various reasons: some peaceful, some not.

Subraces

There are four Orcish sub-races.
The Desert Orcs: The orcs of the Nomadic Clans are a large group of various Orcish clans that wander the northern part of The Eastern Desert. They are completely autonomous, and each clan is run however its Chief sees fit. Every 5 years the Chieftains from each clan (along with one advisor each) gather on the eastern island to share news, warnings, heroic tales, etc. Any important issues that face all clans are also brought up here and resolved together. Occasionally the clans will also unite for a common goal or against a common enemy, such as their war with the Kingdom of Night a couple decades ago. Each clan has a unique structure, beliefs, and culture, though all of them share a somewhat primitive way of life (by choice).
The Expanse Orcs: With the discovery of the eastern continent, named The Grand Expanse, a collection of Plains Orcs, along with a couple clans of Desert Orcs settled the central plains, and eventually even revolted to create their own new nation, separate of the Empire of the Reborn. This new nation became known as the Dominion of the Expanse, renaming themselves as Expanse Orcs to separate themselves from their Western predecessors.
The Mountain Orcs: This group of orcs is a long-lost fleet that went missing in the Great War. They settled on an uncharted continent that would eventually become The Grand Expanse. They fought the savage creatures that made their home here and founded a new nation, The Elder State. Without contact to the Old Realms, their culture and even physiology changed to adapt to their new mountainous homes. While still maintaining a strict practice of strength and honor of their Imperial ancestors, they have since become very spiritual and ritualistic people.
The Plains Orcs: These Orcs are the most widespread among the Old Realms. They were the ones leading the charge against the Humans in the Great War, forming the Empire of the Reborn as the new power in the world. They value strength, honor, discipline, and kindness. They follow an Emperor who can be removed from his position only by overwhelming (3/4) vote of the people, in which a new Emperor, and Imperial Line, would be elected by the people in a direct vote. The Emperor otherwise has complete power of the military, judiciary system, laws, and more.
