Session X: Descent into Underdark

General Summary

Ophiodopolis

They have spent some time in Ophiodopolis and left on the 13th of Dueor, during Day of Magic.

Fatharik

Adventurers then travelled for 10 days to Fatharik to visit Sylrin Duskweaver, who is said to be important for their journey.
They had their past with him but when they met him, he was as completely different person. They recognized them as welcomed friends and it seemed he forgot all his hostilities towards them. He told them it was because of Selune, who spoke to him again and he thought they were the reason why she gave him second chance.

Scaled Arena

They visited Scaled Arena on their way where everyone except Kai and Amelia fought.
Gimmun was able to reach 6th round, Darian almost died in 1st and Dorn reached 4th round.

Underdark preparations

They've spent two weeks preparing in Fatharik for their descent into Underdark, creating magical item called Vertical Compass, which helps you navigate through Underdark ands its vertical mazes.
Gimmun and Dorn used Aurorite which Gimmun bought several weeks in the past and started crafting. On their second attempt they succeeded.

Descent into Underdark

They climbed down to Underdark as it contained some magic disruption stones and feather fall was not a safe option.

Xyrmal'Thrakor - Temple of Selune

Sylrin Duskweaver asked them to help him retrieve artifact from Temple of Selune in Underdark.
When they reached the temple, it was abadonned but guarding statue was still working and attacked Gimmun and Dorn.
They walked through the entire temple, visiting every room and found no one, except Rothé farm. Later they went to upper floors and when they reached 10th, they find first Void creature that attacked them. They managed to kill it without issues. When they reached 11th floor, they find out this was the source, they found some intelligent Void creature, which later found out its "category" is "Spreader" in Common. It was first time they heard Void in spoken form. Spreader Speaking in Void This Spreader showed some strong abilities and resistances but they managed to beat him, which caused him to explode and spread the Void's ooze across larger place of the Temple.

After dealing with the Spreader, they started looking for the Artifact. It took them a while but find the mechanisms to unlock the hidden artifact below the statue, which Sylrin took. They teleported below the library where they found a lot of silver and silver magic items.
Darian Thenerese accepted embrace of Selune by compliting its initiation and became Selûnite.

Encounter with Nemesis

When they started to get ready to leave, they found Dorn's Revenant - Smith who created his blade which he stole from the Temple of Kossuth. He attacked Dorn and whenever he could, he attacked him. He was relentless.
However, they managed to kill this undead but it was close call. It burned to the ashes and all what remained were metal scraps melted together. Kai recognized that he will be back around a week or so. Travel to Shadowmire and Pink River Next they traveled to Shadowmire and Pink River, both of these rivers are great ways to travel through Underdark as Shadowmire is very boring and safe for some part and in Pink River is only adamantine and no fish or monster can survive there for long time. They choose to travel through Shadowmire to Gimmun's city - Ramadun.
