Session V: The Great City of Voxtrenul Report
General Summary
Adventurers left the Chauve's Castle after finding out another weirdness.
Griffon's were weirdly tired while flying over Terandril's Castle where battle with demon legion was going on.
They started to land in the middle of the castle, however guards though they are another wave of enemies - shooting at them.
After short misunderstanding, they agreed to join the fight. Joining their strength with local guards and few mercenaries, alongside with one outsider who lcoals though of as "Demon-Slayer" and also the reason, why demons haven't attacked the gate yet.
Demon's were almost like in a trance - waiting, not moving even when fired upon.
After several hours, the order has been given. Demons attacked the walls, gates and every living creature within the Castle. It was great battle, but the army was able to defend themself with great help from the adventurers.
The next morning, the captain Sir Volfrey Faraney of the army thanked adventurers giving them letter with signature. This was supposed to help them in the capital city for their bravery.
They also visited the local bathouse, where they encountered Tizrnex Bondur - local goblin, owning trade with weapons asking them to deal with his rival Marbora. Then they also encountered beutiful tiefling woman. She looked as if she was from higher status. Later they went to the king's keep for audience, receiving reward for their previous deeds and another quest - get rid of the verming below the city.
They started investigation - trying to get some information about this group. How they work, who are they, what's the source of their income, what are their goals.
Delru Kandus even successfully infiltrated them, talked to them and then spent few hours in their "headquaters" - house with hidden passage to tunnels bellow the city's keep.
Rest of the group noticed this house and were scared for Delru's safety as he hasn't showed up for several hours. They went in with a plan, that went horribly wrong. They were ambushed.
They slaughtered these bandits and cleared the encampment - this was rough fight because of large superiority in numbers.
Delru however joined the fight and betrayed the bandits, dealing lethal damage to their leader.
However, this encampment had another doors. Locked, barricaded as if no one was supposed to ever open them.
