Personal history
Celadaine served dozens of years guarding the borders of Realm of Malabog and Realm of Sharandar. He and his small retinue defended the realm against the evil feys that Malabog managed to sent.
However, Malabog's loyal servant Magra, Curse-Eye and her sisters used corrupting magic to assault Celadaine's mind, convicing him that the Sharandar lost the war, Malabog managed to invade the realm and Sharandar exiled him for his failure. This threw Celadaine into deep regret and deppression. This form of phsychic sabotage left Celadaine broken, over time his entire outlook on the elven way of life became warped, he saw no more beauty in the natural world and began to believe what he'd known to be lies as genuine truths.
On one night, Celadaine murdered other guards that held his tower with him and accepted the dark fey replacements that were sent forth by Magra. The ghosts of the elven guards are still in the tower, tormented by the dark creatures that took their place. Celadaine then swore fealty to King Malabog and serves as his Black Knight.
