Breath of Dragons

In the world of Oxerune there are three divine dragons, Durgix of Chrome, Lothorix of Jewel, and Palarix of Metal.
From them came dragons of pitch, ivory, navy, flame, and forest. Lepidolite, citrine, peridot, azurite, and quartz. Tarnished, tempered, burnished, sterling, and resplendent. The breath of each distinct but alike.

Pitch dragons spew green acid with every heaving breath, it leaks from the corner of their maw and among other dragons, it is joked that their tongue is as vile as their breath. Some say that a pitch dragons lair thrives with unusual plants due to their acid, but to get so close is a peril few would dare attempt.
Navy dragons crackle with lightning when they speak, words punctuated by pops of electricity. Debates between them look like lightning storms to those below as the lightning arcs between them.
Forest dragon breath hangs heavy in the air, like a vibrantly colored fog. Only the foolhardy would wander into such a cloud, and all those who enter would find poisonous gas filling their lungs.
Flame dragons gently blow grey smoke constantly, warm even on the coldest nights with fire in their lungs. When they speak, a warm orange glow radiates from their mouth, and when they fight, mountains burn.
Ivory dragon words seem to hang in the air as their breath crystallizes against their surroundings. Despite their frosty nature, ivory dragons value beauty, and decorate their lairs with things they have froze solid with their breath.

Lepidolite dragons breath is aromatic like incense, washing calm over those in the vicinity. When used as a weapon, the breath of lepidolite dragons causes them to fall into a long dream.
Citrine dragons full of vitriol against those they feel would dull their brilliant shine, their breath decays everything around them, leaving them as the most brilliant thing left standing.
When peridot dragons speak, their voice seems to be overlapped many times over, disorientating the listener. When threatened, the cacophony of voices seems to increase tenfold, rendering the words unintelligible and causing all who can hear to take psychic damage.
Quartz dragons are beautiful creatures that are difficult to see, the only dragon whose breath is neither seen nor felt. You will know when it hits you though, from the burst of pain within your lungs suffocating you as you fight for air. Their breath is called the breath of radiance, for the last thing you may see is the radiant glitter of the dragon as it goes in for the final attack.
Azurite dragons' breath at first glance seem to be a twin to navy dragons', their words punctuated by little sparks. However, they are more cousin than twin. Azurite dragons speak with a booming voice, shaking the ground. When turned into an attack, an azurite dragon releases a wordless roar of pure energy like a thunder clap, disorientating foes and dealing thunder damage.

Tarnished dragons smoke a more white-blue color with intense white fire tinged with blue at its mouth. It is said their fire burns hotter than a flame or resplendent dragon's but so far all have declined any attempts to confirm or deny this. Tarnished dragons have a colder glow when they speak than their crimson or golden counterparts, but all the same do they burn.
Tempered dragons' very beings crackle with a greenish lightning, not just when they speak. It seems to arc between metallic scales and glow in their vibrant green eyes. When they move the lightning arcs behind them, and when they speak it seems to crack with a burst of sparks.
Burnished dragons have saliva that is bluer than the sky and it burns like the stomach of a diomwul. Their roars are deadly with the flurry of acid that sprays from their maw. Some say that unusual plants grow in the lairs of burnished dragons from their acid, but getting close enough to tell is a perilous task, even with permission from the owner.
Sterling dragons are cold to the touch and their breath is even colder. They decorate their lairs with things they have frozen solid, much like ivory dragons, but their eye for beauty is even harsher. They have been known to smash these ice statues if they fail to meet their standards, utterly destroying whatever had been trapped within.
Resplendent dragons' fire is reminiscent of the sun and is the warmest of all dragon fires. The smoke that billows from a resplendent dragon's nostrils is a light grey and some say it smells of woodfire though these claims are widely disregarded. While resplendent dragons are known for their warm demeanor, when spurred to action, their fire burns all the same if not harsher. For nothing burns like the pain of one betrayed.

Labradorite dragons hail from a clutch of eggs left in the Fairer Realm and as such their breath is a bit unique depending on the conditions they hatched in. They may be able to attack with beams of pure sun- or moonlight, or like lepidolite dragons put you to sleep with a puff of warm breath. Or like peridot dragons, their voice may be many made one, reflecting every voice they've ever heard.
