Spark Glass
A glass-like material that sparks out lighting, when casting into weapons it is known to occasionally explode, making any Spark Glass Weapons extremely rare, and only a few people in the world know how to cast it.

Spark Glass is a blue crystal, that sparks with a blue electrical energy.
Geology & Geography
Spark Glass can be found all across Erendoc's mountainous regions. Though the main mine's for the crystals are in the Coldberg Peaks, north of the Rothehampton Woods, and in Dim Run, the town of Barris being a mining town for the crystals.
History & Usage
Everyday use
The most common use for the Spark Glass is in the Lightboxes, various lighting alternatives to torches and lanterns, as well as in the Aetherland Rifles. In the Lightboxes the crystals are used as a energy conduit, charging the crystals with electrical energy, through either spells that conduct lightning or using natural conduits that connect to the Elemental Planes.
Hazards
Overcharging the crystal can cause them to explode, especially in their natural uncut form. Through refinement the crystals are given an artifical barrier and shut off, that if the crystal is overcharged it safely lets the excess energy dissipate into the area around it. Though safe, this dissipation causes a large amount of static electricity in the air, causing hair to stand on end, and minor shocks when touching metal.
However, a large amount of excess energy being forced into the crystal can cause it to explode, expelling large amount of lightning into the area around it. The explosion leaves no remains of the crystal.
