Session 5 Babey - Clearing the Den Report
General Summary

Whilst her companions were out fulfilling Maela roll as a Reaper, Lumina spent the day resting and practising in the park above the temple to Ulaa, for her entry in the performance contest.
14th Uller 283
Upon waking, the party decide upon their first steps today. Verity's next round in the Melee isn't until the 15th, Lumina was sent to the performers guild to learn what time slot and day she would be perform. She learnt it was on the 15th in the afternoon slot, and needed to be at the guild by 1pm the next day. Maela set about researching the Wolf-Drakes she was tasked to deal with by Daygon. Verity went with her to the library where she researched mortal treasurers, and a list of known treasures in the possesion of Rularia country, the main big ones. Lumina did some research on Clan Dragonsbreath, and learnt a little about the history of the Dragon Skull Keep.
Whilst at the library they learn the Wolf-Drakes they are sent to deal with by Daygon, has a bounty on them, and after having some lunch, they collect the bounty tag, and head off. Using a cab service, and a driver named Ben, to head to the location of the den.
Upon arriving at the den, they see one Wolf-Drake injured, three cubs hiding, and a large Wolf-Drake scaring the cubs. Upon closer inspection the Large Wolf-Drake seems to be infected with some sickness, causing black ooze to fall from its wounds, eyes and mouth. Its fur is mottled, and its scales are falling off and necrotic. Killing the Drake and collecting samples, the party do their best to help the injured Wolf-Drake, but she succumbs to her wounds, and the three cubs run off into the forest.
In the den, Verity takes some of the horde, shiny items, with no real monetary value, but does uncover a Oxisided Copper Dragonskull, who talks. Her name is Larlintyth, and regals the party about how she came to be, and how she came to be trapped in the den. When making their way back to Lakeside, and to Lyra, who Larlintyth was originally sent to before being taken by the Wolf-Drakes, she offers the party a job. As her escort in researching this sickness, that seems to be afflicting those of Dragon-Blood. Being a Dragon in her lifetime, but not possessing any Dragon-Blood herself now, she was sent by Challos and the Eternal Dragons to research and find a cure or source of the sickness, and find a way to stop it.
The Bounty Hunters Guild had agreed to pay them, charging the original payment to Challos, of 5gp a day each, not including the tax from the guild, as well as a weekly stipend of 20gp each for food and lodgings. They were told to return at 10am the following day to collect Larlintyth, as well as their first stipend, with their payment of 5gp coming monthly at the end of the month.
