Session 30 - Jesgissa Recruitment Report
General Summary
20th Praxia 283
The party, minus Mal who slept (Leia was absent), headed into town to locate and investigate what was happening. Believing the Cult were going to let rampant an infected Dragon began investigating the nearby area looking for any Dragons or signs of Dragons.
They found a hunting cabin in the woods, meeting the owner a Harengon man who told them about the nearest Dragon Te'er.
Heading back into town and into their rooms in the hotel, Verity contacted Ased and asked him to ready some forces to come help and look into Te'ers location.
Ased readied some support and reported back that Te'er was safe, well safe from the Cult.
Downstairs, Eowen began playing cards with a silver haired man, wearing a red suit who was seemingly looking out around the tavern, counting and keeping an eye on people. Eowen left the tavern in the night to go leave a note with Mal telling him where they are when he awakes.
21st Praxia 283
In the early hours of the morning, as Eowen returns from dropping off a note, in the pouring rain, commotion beings in the tavern.
People begin filling in and the door being closed behind Eowen as he sneaks inside. As everyone is talking quitely in the crowd, they're hushed as a rift appears, stepping through a Dwarven woman, wearing a Black Dragon mask.
She talks about how unfair and unjust it is that Dragons are allowed free reign, beholdant to no laws other than their own, and that they now sit and rule over mortal kind. Claiming that everyone here she hoped would side with them, but if they choose not to they would be free to leave. As she removes her mask, setting Colette on edge, Verity and Colette hasten to leave, with Rayna being hesistant, only upon seeing how many people were inside and following alongside the groups decision, although begrudingly.
Verity puts the call into Ased and asks for the support to come in, but it would still be a few hours.
Eowen and Rayna were hesitant to leave the people who didn't side with the Cult to die. Verity and Lyn being of the mind that if they died protecting these people there'd be very little people able to continue the investigation.
As the party agree to find somewhere, watch the town and wait for the reinforcements we end the session.
