Oasis

Located in the middle of the desert in a lake created due to a deal struck between two former members of Dark Star. Together they would create a spectacle of a fight that would lead to the druid leading the people and rising to power in Aetherland, and the Dragon retreating to the desert. Together they create the small island Oasis where the Dragon would establish a free city for all Dragonkind.
Due to the location in the middle of the desert, the cities timing is opposite to the other cities in Erendoc. The people sleep during the day, and trade, fight, work at night. The night market of Oasis is renowned across Erendoc and by the Dragons of the world, traders coming from all across the continent, especially from Silvergrave in the Vally, or from the Tardoren people in Bazyak Lower.
The area surrounding the lake has created fertile land, with grass and palm trees growing along its banks. The city itself is made of sandstone, with stacked flat-topped buildings, mixed in and amongst domed buildings, like temples and the main palace of the Dragon who founded the city. The streets run alongside and bridge over canals that spread water throughout the city, falling waterfalls glistening in both the sun and moonlight.

The Glass Scar

On the Northern shore of the Oasis sits a large portion of glass, legends states that the sand that once sat on the north shore was blasted into glass during a great battle. This battle, if legend is to be believed, was the final fight in the story of Dark Star against the Ivory Order, where after 5000 years, Astaroth and the Great Wyrm had their final fight. Who one? The knowledge has been lost, only the leader of Oasis, Kalidra, knows for definite. But that's knowledge he keeps only to himself.

History

Founding of The First Dragon Haven

Just over three and a half millennia before the coronation of Queen Mifeath in Polantia, the city of Oasis was settled, it's reason for existing, to create a safe haven for Dragons to live without fear of hunting or attacks. After the Dark Star rebellion against the Ivory Order, the Dragon Kalidra and Druid Ceres, set about creating a natural wonder in the desert. Deep inside the dune seas of the Bazyak, they created a Oasis of life, where only Dragons could feesibly reach due to the location in the deep sands.
