Calamity's Claw

Calamity's Claw is an ancient sword that was stuck in a large tree in the middle of the Forest of Pain before being dragged into a war of succession through no fault of its own. It's not actually the correct ancestral weapon but was simply a very good sword that got dropped when a hero attempted to escape the cannibals.
The sword periodically finds its way back to the tree, which has now grown rather successfully around the gouge that contains the sword and is quite healthy.
