Furor of the Bitten

Make a melee spell attack against a target within range. If the attack hits the target takes 1d10 piercing damage and must make a Wisdom saving throw. Whether the target succeeds or fails, its melee weapon attacks deal an additional 1d4 damage for the duration of the spell. On a failed save the target loses control of itself, and on each of its turns, it must move to the nearest creature and use its action to make a melee weapon attack against that creature, if possible. If several targets are equally near, the target attacks a randomly chosen creature. The target can repeat the saving throw at the end of each of its turns, ending the effect on a success.
At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the damage dealt to the target increases by 1d10 and the additional damage the target deals with melee weapon attacks increases by 1d4 for each slot level above 1st.
