Avacyn’s Pilgrim

The Church of Avacyn has many members, many hands through which the faith granted by the archangel travels, but even they can not be everywhere. And while none can doubt the role that Avacyn's church has played in the defense of Innistrad, the inner politics and turmoils of its faithful can sometimes dissuade others from following the same path. But those unwilling to join the Church of Avacyn, who still wish to sing her praises, always have the path of the pilgrim.   Faithful of the Outlands The Church of Avacyn holds its strongest bastion in the High City of Thraben, and from there the priests, cathars, and clerics of Avacyn and her angels flow. But Thraben sits far to the North, and often the provinces of the South languish, forgotten or unreachable by the dwindling numbers of the angel's forces. It is to these place that the Avacynian Pilgrims bring the light of the archangel, wandering the far reaches of the provinces, guided by her light in an effort to bring its radiance to others. Though their mission is dangerous, they know the risks which they take, and choose to follow their path all the same. From this powerful devotion they draw the strength necessary to stand tall when faced with the claws of werewolves, the fangs of vampires, and the grasping hands of the undead.
