You take 2d8 necrotic damage for each arc launched, and each creature targeted by the spell must make a Constitution saving throw, on a failed save taking 6d8 necrotic damage and suffering one level of exhaustion for each arc targeting them.
At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 5th level or higher, the number of arcs created and the number of creatures you can target each increase by one. This number increases to four arcs and four creatures using a 7th-level spell slot or higher, and five arcs and five creatures using a 9th-level spell slot.
