If the creature is casting a spell of 1st level or lower, any material component or spellcasting focus used in the casting of the spell is immediately destroyed.
At Higher Levels When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 2nd level or higher, the material component or spellcasting focus is destroyed if the spell’s level is less than or equal to the level of the spell slot you used.
