Knowledge Above All Else

As a member of the Seekers of Aura, Knowledge-seekers go into Ostrium in search of unforeseen Auric phenomenon to research. This can be anything ranging from new spells being found to creatures recently uncovered. There are only a small number of Knowledge-seekers, however, making them overworked and under a lot of pressure to provide results. When combined with low to nonexistent moral compasses, and these researchers focus on methods that will get them results, not what is morally sound and right.

The reports from their research all go back to the leader of the Seekers of Aura, Murtagh Delaney, for use in developing his immortality spell.

Types of Research

Crystal Growths

Many new growths of Crystals are reported to the Ostrium Aura Research Society before they are mined, with the oddest being given to the Seekers, leading to this being the most well-researched field in their arsenal. From Heart Crystals to why plants grow to such large sizes when near a Crystal growth, the Seekers have seen and researched almost everything to do with Crystals.

Creature Studies

Studies of newly found creatures are sent straight to the Seekers for research, instead of staying with the Society. Both the living and deceased members of the creature population are researched here, and sometimes the living become the deceased. "For baseline purposes," the Seekers would reassure everyone.
