Properties

Physical & Chemical Properties

Armour: While wearing armour forged with Silvered Iron, Lycanthrope creatures have disadvantage on melee attacks against you.     Weapon: When you hit a Lycanthrope with a Silvered Iron weapon, you can roll the damage again and use either result. The weapons will also overcome resistance to non-magical bludgeoning, piercing or slashing damage against Lycanthrope

History & Usage

History

Silvered iron came about by jewelcrafters of lower moral standing mixing iron into their silver in an effort to cheat their customers out of money by selling something that was of a much lower value. Due to the strength and durability that the iron gave to the silver while still maintaining its negative effects against lycanthropes, it was then manufactured into weapons and armour.

Everyday use

Silvered iron is most commony used in weapons and armour, but it is equally as common for it to be used for defenses. Spiked railing for fences and barriers, bars on entryways such as windows and skylights and every 3rd or 4th caltrop in an area are as just as likely to be silvered iron as they are to be typical iron.
