Payant

Payant (Pay-Yaunt), A continent to the North of Ostara. The two continents are seperated by a massive mountain range said to be guarded by the Jotunns. The mountain range and continent are said to be so inhospitable to humans that very few have been there and returned to share the stories of the horrors they had seen. The land has a harsh frozen tundra climate, it is filled with massive creatures.

Geography

A harsh land, filled with many mountain ranges, pine forests, and frozen plains filled with many rivers and fresh water lakes.

Fauna & Flora

Many pine tree forests and unusually large fruit bearing plants. The local herbivores consist mostly of deers and elk. Massive saber-tooth tigers and wolves roam the land. Basically think of animals from our real world Ice-Age but instead of going extinct they actually thrived and grew about 1.5 times larger than they were in our world.

Natural Resources

Lots of wood from Pine Forests scattered through-out the land. Many rolling hills as well as massive amounts of valuable metals and ores in the regions many mountain ranges. As well as a great amount of fresh water from the vast amount of rivers and water that span the landscape.
