Trial of Lakio
Summary
After Lakio abandoned his training to be a knight of Jessia in service to the Cult of the Goddess Matriarch, he resurfaced as a dread wizard shortly after.
He was found producing Lakki Automatons and sacrificing the souls of the innocent to power them. He was brought before Jessia to stand trial for his crimes against humanity and asked if he plead guilty.
Lakio gave a full confession of every evil deed he committed against the souls of the innocents he kidnapped, the works of necromancy that fuels his creations, and the admittance to creating a phylactery to become a lich should he be executed. In response, Jessia found a punishment for him in hopes it would give him time to reform.
She granted him a divine spark, turning him into the Winter Lord and the God of Knowledge and Magic. But all he felt was the immortality destroy his life's goal and became enraged. He swore a blood oath to kill Jessia, to unwrite her from existence and end his own immortality out of spite.
