The Korifé Peaks

The Korifé Peaks run for hundreds of miles just south of the capital city of Gul-Dratum. Rivers running from deep in the mountain range give life to the dry landscape it would otherwise have. Mountain lakes and vast grasslands line the valleys and plains that the mountain range is home to. Several monasteries can be found in the secluded mountain side, such as 'The Sanctum of the Dragon'. These monasteries each have towns situated around them, where most of the members families as well as workers live. Trade in these mountain communities is difficult in the winter months as the roads typically close due to the conditions, because of this the mountain communities grow specific crops and hunt to ensure they have preserved products for the difficult winters. The Korifé Peaks are also home to hamlets of hill giants and Ettins, which prove to be the most dangerous creatures one can encounter due to their raw strength.
