Due to their pure blooded descendance, these first dragons grew at an accelerated rate. The first metallic dragons proved to be defenders of mortal kind, aiding in the battles against the undead as well as the fiends brought on by the betrayer gods. The first Chromatic dragons showed their arrogance and greed, attacking mortals across Osserea.
Ovyr Maldresy was a high elven man, that stood at the forefront of the Dawn War. Having both met Corellon and fought beside him, his name is viewed in a high regard across the material plane. Though the exact story is unknown, after the first chromatic dragons began to bear eggs, Ovyr sought out taming them. He returned after nearly forty years, with both a saddled red dragon and several eggs strapped to his back.
Since the Dawn War, House Drakeme has grown into a military powerhouse. The current leader is the son of Ovyr, Kelvin Maldresy. Since his taking of the position, House Drakeme has allied themselves with both the nations of Durbar and Anathod. For the last hundred years, House Drakeme has worked with these two nations along with any others willing to spend the coin for their services.
Gaining membership is possible, though the challenges one must endure are unknown. Only proven warriors or blood relatives are given the opportunity to be counted among them, and sail on scaled wings.
