Personal history

A member of the Conclave of the Endless Wilds; exiled from his home tribe of the Noro’Kvari but still allowed to use the name.
The Noro’Kvari lay claim to, and constantly travel around, sacred grasslands in which Soren grew-up. This is where is Favored Terrain of Grasslands comes from.
Raised only by his father Kagan Ha’Gall as part of the Noro’Kvari, a semi-nomadic Orc tribe. Soren was the only Half-Orc.

Mental Trauma

Soren's mother, Tasia Vitali, went missing (info about her pact with the Wild Huntsman only known to Blythe).
The furs that Soren wears, a combination of lion and ram, was originally a gift his father made for his mother, but she left it for him before she disappeared.

Conclave of the Endless Wilds

Was directed to Ossen by a group of druids that claimed him known as the Conclave of the Endless Wilds. He was sent to protect the area by ridding it of any kind of monstrosities that feed off of the natural magic of the lands.
He had encountered a large egg nearly the size of a boar near his homeland that was feeding off of a leyline of magic in the Underdark attempting to eventually hatch. Was told by the Conclave something similar might be in Ossen.

Hunters Crossing Paths

Met Aslaug prior to expedition to Ossen when they crossed paths as she out-shot him during a hunt. Friends for the months after that leading to departing for Ossen together, and eventually falling in love with each other. Soren had bottled his feelings for her knowing that she would eventually be taken by the Wild Huntsman. Finally told her how he felt after some urging (pestering) from Blythe. They now share Sending Stones and Armbands of the Lost and Found to always have a way to keep in contact when not on missions together.

Family Ties

Very positive views of his father. Taught him the large majority of his life skills and was proud of Soren and would boast about his skills among the somewhat disdained views of the other full-blooded Orcs.
Noro’Kvari never hated Soren, but they always pushed him harder than other young of the tribe to “make up for the weakness of his human half.”

Religious Views

Still follows a lot of the superstitions and traditions of his tribe.
Jaktar’val: It roughly translates to First Party, and is related to a group that has their first hunt together. People who are bonded to always look out for each other. In this expedition that would be: Aslaug, Khell, Vartoom, and Salix.

And then I had to run to catch up with Ceres.
"But I kept coming back for a chance to see her. And eventually I got the courage to talk to her." Blythe stops drawing circles on Soren's back long enough to give him a tight squeeze. "And even though she's gone, I wouldn't trade that for anything. I'm so happy I knew her. I'm so much better for having known her. She made me a better person." Then, lowering her voice: "Imagine how shitty I was before."
