An angry farmhand decides to destroy his village with Hell Chickens. OSHA intervenes.

OVERRUN! HELP!   The town of Fliversham is under attack! Dangerous creatures have poured into town from an unknown source! We haven't heard from several outlying farmsteads in days, and have barricaded the town square in defense! Please eradicate these creatures and find the source of their incursion!   From the Fliversham Town Council   Reward upon completion: 1200gp, the honor of being guest judges in the next annual Fliversham prized chicken competition, and naming rights to the new Fliversham school mascot   Participated: Narissara and Angela   Report 0030 Filed at Briggsfall Office   FLIVERSHAM OVERRUN!   Angela and I headed out to Fliversham to see what was attacking them. On arrival, the town was all barricaded and there was a man with a flag on the wall signaling us. Neither Angela or I could make out what he meant, so I called up to him. This prompted an attack by the Hell Chickens. We managed to fight them off with the help of the villagers. We then reconvened in the town hall, which had been fortified to help muffled sound.   The villagers had been beset by these chickens, and were afraid to make noise or leave the town. Months ago (OSHA Report 0001) OSHA agents had come and eradicated a group of chickens, and thought the job was done, but somehow these strange creatures were still appearing. Closer examination showed me that they were not of this plane of existence. Angela and I healed the injured for the rest of the evening and then slept.   The next day we headed out to the original farm they were seen at - the Fliver's farm. There we found corruptions spreading among the trees and more of the chickens. After fighting them off, investigation of the farm house showed the front porch was booby trapped and lead to a very suspicious basement with more chickens. We also could hear someone inside who refused to answer the door.   Upon entering the house, we chased the sound of footfalls to the basement and discovered a man in a cloak who appeared to be the culprit. This was proven when he summoned more chickens and refused to surrender to us. We found him to unconsciousness and destroyed his ritual space. The town mayor was very surprised to see that Steven was behind the summoning, but his angry diary detailed his nefarious deeds and his desire to see all of Fliversham destroyed by hell chickens.   We decided the school mascot should be an owl and named it after one of my ancestors, but the humans are calling it Hooty, and said they'd be the Fliversham Hooters.   -Narissara
