A Priest of Kelemvor has sent for aid. Creatures in the fields have been terrorizing them and another OSHA team has already been dispatched but have not returned.

FIELDS OF FEAR   Tunis, Priest of Kelemvor sends this letter:   Please aid us, the fields surrounding Calebsfort teem with some kind of ravenous creature! We spot groups of glowing eyes and wide, shining grins in the tall grasses and dry cropland. They move at unbelievably swift speeds, or there may just be so many that it appears as such… Beware, one OSHA team has already been sent out to battle them. The attacks stalled for a couple of days, but the team never returned to collect their payment and the terror has begun anew. Only in the brightest daylight is it safe to travel. We are held hostage in the walls of the city at night. We have tried burning the fields, but our fires fizzle without explanation. Help!   Reward: 1200 GP   This adventure started with the mistake of buying some evil bread from the store that honestly could be used as a weapon. Codit, Beans (a strange bird person who liked repeating people) and I were sent to the Calebsfort (around the dead people area) to assist with some evil things in the fields of pre-bread (I’ve been told this is called Wheat). We arrived at night with some evil eyes looking at us which caused me to drop the evil bread and run towards the safety of the city walls. We were told that the creatures have torn through a bunch of people and it’s only safe to travel on the roads in the morning. In the morning we meet Tunis and explain that the previous adventurers went towards an old mill during the night and they haven’t returned. We traveled to the spot to find a turned over cart and tons of dried blood everywhere. I saw some scarecrows in the field and decided to throw the evil bread at them since they looked scary when all of a sudden it moved. After fighting a couple of them they seemed to jump back into the wheat and disappear. We carefully traveled through the field (we were all too short to see above the wheat) and reached a house with some notes inside that we couldn't read. Afterwards we head to the mill to discover a gruesome sight of people grinded into the mill and a notebook claiming that there were souls being kept here with some runes. Luckily I had just started researching runes in order to disarm them safely. We returned through the field with no issues and told Tunis that the issues have been resolved. -Growthan
