Diplomatic action

An Orc prince has traveled far after a thief had robbed him of something. He contracted OSHA to find this person to rightfully get back what was stolen from him.

FUGITIVE FROM THE CINDERS’ HALL   I am Prince Mauberk of the Cinder Tribe, Clan of the Cask, Horde of the East Range.   I am not familiar with these lands, but was pleased to find OSHA’s reach extends this far. I seek your aid in identifying a runaway humanoid I have tracked to this shire, shrouded in mystery and cloaked in shadows. They flee from my family’s distant halls, where they engaged us in fine drink, and merry company, but fled in the night. This is a deeply personal matter to me, and I must have satisfaction.   We are encamped on the road west of Briggsfall. You will see our banners bearing the fiery sigil. We shall reward the successful hunters with 5,000 Gold Pieces, and a vial each of exotic magics from beyond the mountains.   This one was a very exciting adventure with another two people joining us. I know you told me to stop calling them friends but they are really nice with one of them being a very “religious” Drow with bees inside of her named Lisse and the other being a Harengon (A small rabbit person) named Meli. We didn’t have Fred this time but we did have another old Horse named George? who said some very rude things about Fred but after a very long walk he seemed to lighten up. Upon reaching a little west of Briggsfall we reached a very small town and a very large Orc encampment. Since Prince Mauberk was the one that reached out we went to the Orc encampment and was met with the sight of lots of Sweaty Muscled Orcs with some pet basilisk with their eyes covered (they weren’t much of a conversationalist). When meeting a prince I thought you had to bow, but it didn’t seem like they liked that very much and so Lisse puffed out her chest and they liked that better. He explained that something was stolen from him and he wanted it back. After showing us a mask that the thief stole from we headed off to the small town to find the humanoid thief. After talking to the mayor about stupid political stuff and encountering a very rude small person named Gale, a nice fighter woman named Gayle we finally got to the tavern & inn where we were told to leave our weapons at the door. A very annoying bell lady (found out later she’s the owner of the inn) started to ask if we wanted anything and we politely ordered everything. Lisse went upstairs to investigate all the rooms up there while me and Meli tried to investigate down stairs. After Lisse came back and there was no progress on finding who the thief may be, Me and Lisse decided to distract the Bell lady with bees and flies while Meli went into the kitchen and found our thief (the cook and Bell lady’s Son). We had a conversation and after explaining the orcs were going to raid the town and kill people they “agreed” to stay the night until the Orcs came over in the morning to recover what the cook stole. We had night shifts to exchange but after Meli’s shift the Cook and Bell lady left through the kitchen window which prompted a naughty word to come out of my mouth. This woke up Meli and Lisse and we began to chase after them. After an intense fight with the Bell lady causing some sickness to radiate around her we eventually knocked down the cook and returned them to the inn. In the morning 3 orcs (including the Prince) came to the inn to have a conversation and claimed that he cheated in a drinking contest with the mask. They demanded a rematch with the ending being quite festive saying that what was stolen was the Prince’s heart. Since this was resolved we came back to OSHA and reported what happened without all the mushy gushy stuff and the naughty words. ~Gloria
