Poisoned water lead to mass sickness in Carversham.

A mysterious illness has overtaken us. Even as I write this my hand grows weak. I pray I have the will to even pass this message on. Please, send who you can. The onset of this malady was sudden, it's symptoms unlike anything in my memory. We eventually found that it was caused by an evil abyssal merperson who poisoned the water supply. Luring it out was a job in itself, we almost drowned!   Also of note - everyone in town had changed their names to start with C! The Earl said he'd find a cure for everyone since we found the source of the poisoning.
