Geinmarch

BLOOD AND STONE

Geinmarch is a nation of stone and blood. Upon the mountians of Geinmarch one will find the blood of the Dwarves, the history of their hardships and victories. Overrun by Orcs and Dragons, Geinmarch was only won by the strength of the Dwarves who persevered to build their magnificent kingdoms upon the mountains. Geinmarch is composed of seven kingdoms that have their own kings and maintain their own independence, but all the kingdoms hail the king of Enkinnadein as the High King, granting him absolute authority in dire situations and national decisions. The kingdoms that stand on those mountains serve as a testament to the long-lasting legacy that the Dwarves have earned for themselves.

GEOGRAPHY

Geinmarch is located just west of the Arpeas Sea, north of Lebari, south of Asteros, and east of Entolia. Geinmarch's land is mainly made up of vast mountains ranges. The nation consists of seven distinct mountain ranges, and these mountain ranges mark the seven kingdoms that make up the Dwarven Kingdom. Below the mountain peaks are interconnected networks of rivers that flow from mountain to mountain. These rivers do much in the way of providing for the wildlife at the base of the mountains, but the rocky terrain makes it difficult to raise any large farmlands.

DEMOGRAPHIC

Geinmarch has been claimed by the Dwarves, but there are still many tribes of Orcs and Dragonborn who have lived within the mountains long before the Dwarves emerged from the Gravedeep. Below the mountains, there are small villages of Humans and Gnomes who live simple lives, hunting what they can and farming with the soil available to them.
Besides the surface world, there are large communities of Duergar who continue to live deep underground, choosing to follow the original traditions that Talov had given to them.
