Aldyssia
LAND OF MYSTERY AND MEDICINE
Once a vassal state to Entolia, Aldyssia has only recently become a nation of its own but has proven to be a distinguished country that has made a name for itself with their major advancements in medicine and healing. Though Aldyssia has struggled hard to heal itself from the scars of war and death, the Ebonspire that rose during the Great War constantly serves as an omen of misfortune and ruin to the denizens of Aldyssia.GEOGRAPHY
Aldyssia is located in the northwest corner of the Cordanian continent. Aldyssia consists of two strips of land. One strip of land is located along the southern base of the Kantorian Mountains and the northern coasts of the Laftan Sea. The other strip bears a long coast that faces the Arigon Sea to the west and a coast on the opposite side that faces the Laftan Sea to the east.Due to the winds that roll in from both the Laftan Sea and the Arigon Sea, as well as the rivers that pour down from the Kantorian Mountains, Aldyssia enjoys a rich diversity of plant life, but on occassions, blizzards will blow over the Kantorian Mountians or from the Winter Gates and strip the lands barren.

Being a former vassal state to Entolia, Aldyssia's majority demographic is Human. Many Dwarves and Gnomes have made their home in Aldyssia due to its proximity and abundance of vegetation. Among the inhabitants of Aldyssia, there are notable groups of Drow and Orcs. Communities of Drow have secluded themselves among the Kantorian Mountains in hopes of escaping Atrian persecution. The citizens of Aldyssia have not openly accepted the Drow that live there, but they have reached a sort of unspoken compromise of mutual respect.
