History
None of the rank-and-file members of the Paragons of Potential know how or when the organization originated. This knowledge is kept by the Templars and the Prime.
Most would know that the organization is over a thousand years old and thus already existed under the Voohgaa empire.
What they would not know is that it was the Paragons of Potential that brought about the end of this empire. With the outside help that they received from the Far Realm, they sowed unrest and chaos in the ranks of the Goblinoids, convincing them to fight each other and bringing about the civil war.
Another unknown in the history of the organization is Morawen. The wizard was the Prime of Stars in his time, and simultaneously became leader of the Morawen Principalities after the Calamitous String. The Paragons did have something to do with both. After a particularly bad explosion in Pukavkaz, Morawen came up with the idea to bring about a sequence of disasters that could unite the magocratic city states and executed the plan with the help of the Paragons of Potential.
In 3415, Paragons of Potential in the north of Bodkfold provoked the Dwarvish mining clans into a profit war. They did so on orders of their Templar of the Eyes Over the next 6 years the miners dug deeper and deeper, until they hit the Realm Below. This Templar of the Eyes was influenced by the Far Realm to do so, to open up the possibility for a doorway between the two worlds.
