Northern Aikana Mountains

The Northern Aikana Mountains are a range of mountains in western Orioth. The highest peaks in Orioth, the overall elevation of the Northern Aikana Range is the highest in all of Orioth, leading to areas with much colder climates than the rest of Orioth, leading to long winters with heavy snowfall, the snowmelt leading to the Maedan River, although much of the melt is actually lost to underground aquifers, ancient magma tunnels dug by the range's once-active volcano, Queensmount. The majority of the Northern Aikana range falls under the control of the nation of Felryn, save for the north-facing slopes, which fall within the lands of Alvmire. They run along the Highland Coast, and the southern reaches hold Ishtaya's Tower. The population of the Northern Aikanas is largely Human, Hobgoblin, and Kobold. It is seperated from the Southern Aikana Mountains by the Mosgar Pass.
