Aphrodite Primus

This garden planet was extensively terraformed during humanity's first expansions, transformed from a barren wasteland to an idyllic garden. Lush, non-offensive plants shelter fuzzy little creatures genetically bred to a sickening level of cuteness. Of course, the first thing the Block did was ruin all of it with ugly skyscrapers. Increased tourism led to increased amenities, and now Aphrodite Primus teeters on the edge of an ecological disaster. Geography

Aphrodite Primus is a heavily terraformed planet on the border of New Economic Block and Ballard Constitution space. It has an equatorial diameter of 0.85 with a mass of M⊕0.8. The planet is split into three continents: Eden, Arcadia, and Erewhon. The continents are surrounded by the Aphrodite Ocean and in turn surround the shallow Seafoam Sea.
Eden is the most heavily populated island. The main spaceport-city of Beulah is a blight on the landscape, thrown up haphazardly as demand has grown. Three subsidiary cities have been erected deeper in Eden's interior: Canaa, Shangri, and Vega. These are better-planned than Beulah but are harder to support, forcing further infrastructure development in Beulah.
Arcadia is a very popular place to camp and boasts many small towns dedicated to rest and relaxation. The hot springs of Sundown are particularly famous. There is a single major coastal city, Tallama, that has begun following in Beulah's footsteps by creating a spaceport. This was presented to the corporations as a fait accompli, resulting in the execution of the city mayor. Still, with the die cast, Tallama has continued its budget spaceport and all sorts of unsavory activities have begun to sprout up on the continent as a response to the lax regulations and high pay.
Erewhon is the least visited of the islands, mostly because it is the farthest north and the coldest. Only a few small settlements sit along the coastline, especially villages full of fishing guides.

Fauna & Flora

The three continents each have their own flora and fauna. Eden was designed to mirror a temperate deciduous forest, with plenty of oak, birch, and maple trees. Arcadia is a temperate rainforest, mostly containing huge redwoods and similar conifers. Erewhon contains hemlock, spruce, and fir trees.
All three continents have similar fauna. Deer, otters, cats, and dogs roam the forests. All have been genetically altered to only consume plant matter, reproduce at a limited rate, and die young (and hopefully out of sight). Lakes and seas teem with tasty fish of all kinds.
