Cal'Garian

Cal'Garians are creature-like beings almost seeming like a cross between insects and something from the darkest depths of the deepest cave. Very little is commonly known about these, so called, creatures. They are primarily tribal beings, primitive in many ways except for a few exceptions. They have almost never been known to leave their homeland. Cal'Gar are hyper aggressive to outsiders to their land, it's not well documented how they are when they reside anywhere else. The few that have been communicated with in peace always tend to be gruff, impatient, and borderline aggressive; they seem to have very little understanding of things such as empathy, charity, mercy, or compassion. Cal'Garians also have a natural resistance to magic that gets stronger with the larger breeds. There are four main types of Cal'Garians (the information on the side-panel is for the one known as "Cal'Gar"), and the information on them is as follows:

Cal'Gar

Cal'Gar are the most common, the worker ants of the colony; they look similar in appearance to their bretheren save for looking ever-so-slightly more Human with a straighter spine and more attentive attitude. That said, they are easily, and often, mistaken for the Kri'Cal'Gar who looks much the same way, though is a little larger.

Kri'Cal'Gar

The slightly larger version of the Cal'Gar, their chitin is much tougher and their natural resistance to magic is much stronger.

Cal'Gar'Rah

These, often called "Brutes", are the one's that tend to frighten most people. When an outsider makes landfall on the Cal'Garian island, they have to deal with the horrors of the Cal'Gar and Kri'Cal'Gar, but it is this one that they fear the most. this stems mostly from appearance and mystery (as they are not nearly as common as the other two breeds mentioned). Cal'Gar'Rah are much bulkier than the others, their spine is more curved, and they tend to make a unique and terrifying sound vocally that signifies their presence. The main appearance trait that stands out with them, aside from their physique, is the dozens of small spikes protruding from their chitin, making them appear as hugable as a cactus.

Cal'Gar'Kef

Rarely seen and scaresly documented, these large creatures are starkly different from the other breeds. They walk on six legs and seem almost akin to beetles, were it not for the swivling neck and its front legs used like swords. These monsters are the heads of the colony, protected and revered by the three lower breeds. A unique mental trait of this particular Cal'Garian is that, unlike the other three, is is fully instincual and mentally incapable of reasoning with civilized beings; while other Cal'Garians have actually seen recruitment into guilds, mercenary organizations, and the like - Cal'Gar'Kefs are monsters and entirely untameable. Aside from magical use, but that would have to pass the Cal'Gar'Kefs significant natural resistance to magic.
