Canodemon

Canodemons are a species of canine like creatures with hardened, chitinlike armour plates protecting their backs. Canodemons are utilised by the Reavers of Khelreach as trackers and scouts.

Anatomy

Canodemons are significantly larger than most canines, standing almost 3 and a half feet on all four legs and weighing in excess of ninety kilograms. One of the most distinctive aspects of the creature is their chitinous armour plates, with most of their body barring the underbelly, neck and face being covered. Canodemons also possess an extremely long and powerful tongue, and have rumoured to have been seen grappling their prey with it.
