Glowfrond

Found in Depths regions of nearly all seas, as it is cultivated heavily by Triton civilizations.
A gift from the Triton god of light and magic Thasseus, glowfronds are an incredible source of light underwater. Capable of growing in a variety of conditions and to tremendous sizes, the pale blue light produced by the fronds of this plant emits enough UV radiation and warmth to simulate sunlight, and allow for the growth and cultivation of plants that would normally be confined to shallower waters.
The cores of the roots of largerglowfrond plants are valued for their potent magical properties.
