Vali

An imperial soldier encountered by the Ordo when they acquired fuel from an imperial refueling station. The ordo docked with their recently stolen transport ship, and the Pilot Banshee was detained and the whole operation turned into a firefight. Everyone in the refueling station was killed by the Ordo, except Vali. His legs were cut off as he attempted to activate the internal alerting system. He was left to die but received help quickly as the officer questioning Banshee came back with a heavy contingent of soldiers shortly after the Ordo members had left the scene. The officer had reported back what Banshee had relayed of information and had received orders to kill her and everyone else who might be accompanying her. They found all the soldiers dead and Vali bleeding out. Acting quickly, they managed to get him to the medbay and stabilize him. Vali had up to this point had a normal life, went through the imperial schooling system with average to good grades, joined the Imperial Navy and served for many years during different campaigns, never sticking out but always doing his job and considered an honorable reliable soldier. His parents still live on Dromund Kaas, both military veterans now retired, and his younger sister serves in the Sith Archives in charge of cataloguing. As he was being treated in the medbay of the station, a man visited him. He introduced himself as James and asked him about the incident that had occurred. He expressed that he was Impressed, saying very few who ever encountered this Terrorist cell ever survived. He also notified Vali that there was a special opportunity available to him, that the empire rewarded those who showed exceptional skills and willpower.
Not being sure what he was accepting Vali stated it was an honor to serve and whatever he could do top help he would. He pointed out that he might not be much use to the empire now however, as his legs had been brutally cut off, a statement James shrugged off, telling him not to worry about that, everything would be taken care off. The last official imperial records of Vali showed that he was relieved of duty and transferred to an off-grid black ops research facility. After that all official records stop.
He was killed by the Ordo on Hoth during a hunt for the Jedi.
