Gladio Rin'sihi (a.k.a. Rin)

Rin'sihi was a member of the Ordo Templaris fifth Crusade, she was one of the few that were first recruited into the Atrox Ascensus and followed Ehoc and Fenrir when the Ascensus was reformed leaving most of it's senior members without purpose.

Personal history

Rin'sihi was born minutes before her twin sister Shi'ina on Ryloth. Signs of Shi'ina's force sensibility could be seen early on, while Rin's wouldn't develop until much later. Their family was enslaved as the twins were 7 years old, causing the two girls to be separated from their parents. A wealthy Hutt on Nar Shaddaa with the name of Chirgu bought the two slave girls when they were 10 years old. The two always stuck together, helping each other out and hoping, that nobody would notice Shi's powers. Several years passed as they lived in slavery, and they were mainly used as dancers, until one day, when Chirgu considered an alliance with the Sith. A human Sith, whose name those two Twi'lek girls never got to hear, sensed their potential. He decided that the deal with the Hutt would have to include the two girls, and so they were brought to Korriban to begin their training. While Rin finally discovered her own force sensitivity, they formed a friendship with two other Acolytes: A Zabrak called Nesrafesz and a pureblood sith called Yâqain. While the pureblood was distant at first, though he started to develop a crush on Shi, causing him to grow closer to the group of Xenos at the time.
Everything went fine for a while and they were about to finish their training, as Zakuul attacked the Academy. The group was currently out in a long forgotten tomb, completing their last trial, as Zakuulan knights and other troops ran in, trying to eradicate all life in the area. Rin immediately saw that this was a hopeless situation, so she decided to do the one thing she thought appropriate: bring as many of them down with her as possible. She ordered Nes to fight at her side, to buy time for the two others, hoping they would be able to collapse the tomb on top of them. Several minutes passed, and the two were about to be overwhelmed by Zakuulan forces, as a particularly well-timed strike of a Zakuulan knight cut right into Rin's face, cutting through her right eye in the process, while a grenade was thrown at Nes. As it exploded, only a few meters away from him, it gave the tomb the last push it needed to collapse, as the other acolytes had put all their strength into trying to bring it down.
Luckily for them, Zakuul was already retreating their troops, as the imperial reinforcements arrived, and searched the place for survivors. A dead Zakuulan was discovered in front of the collapsed tomb entrance, and soon a squad of imperials under the command of Sergeant Bones started looking inside. Some time passed, and slowly, the survivors were recovered: Yâqain had a few shattered bones but had no other major injuries, Rin's arm was crushed by a rock which fell down on her, while she was unconscious and Nes was almost completely annihilated, as his failing body was quickly replaced with a cybernetic one. Shi was the only one that never made it out alive, as only her dead body was recovered. Upon hearing this in the medbay, Rin was furious, swearing to end whoever did this. After Marr's death and the inevitable defeat of both the Empire and the Republic under the rule of Arcann, the three survivors were tasked with a mission: To eliminate Zakuul by assassinating key targets. Bones and other squads were assigned to them, as they were all given the rank of Sith Warrior, along with a ship. They served as a black-ops team, officially functioning as rogue imperials, that the empire had no control over. They were relatively successful with most of their missions, Rin acting as the shield that protected their troops during an assault, while the other two were focusing on bringing down their targets.
After the defeat of Zakuul at the hands of the alliance, Rin quickly grew bored with the standard imperial life, as she was still looking for a challenge, a way to get her mind off what happened to her sister, as she still struggles to mentally process it. It took a few months before she heard about an order called "Atrox Ascensus" and she began to investigate...
