Cain Moreno
Grand Warlock Cain Moreno (a.k.a. Prophet of Athos)
Mental characteristics
Mental Trauma
From a young age, Cain was treated as an outsider, an omen.
Intellectual Characteristics
Cain was very intelligent, but quite gullible.
Morality & Philosophy
Though he was raised in the church, Cain would ultimately abandon its teachings in favor of the honeyed words of Athos, who claimed God to be an unjust & cruel being, torturing humans for his own amusement.
Personality Characteristics
Motivation
Due to being mistreated by his family & society, he believed that he was abandoned by God & after a supernatural encounter, he dedicated his life to the service of a deity he called “Athos,” who was actually the Dark King.
Representation & Legacy
Cain is viewed with pity as a cautionary tale about the dangers of treating others as outsiders. Still others view him as a man whose faith was tested & found lacking. Overall, most of Eden views his legacy as a reminder that even they are not completely immune to the ruinous powers.
